WOLVES NEED YOUR VOICE!

There are very important things happening right now and the wolves need your voice now more than ever.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife has presented a Wolf Management Plan to the CPW commissioners. This plan will designate how wolves are managed when we have paws on the ground by December 31st, 2023. For the most part the plan is something we can live with, BUT, there is language in there that is bad for wolves. The plan is developed on phases. There is a proposed PHASE 4. PHASE 4 may allow turning a wolf’s status from non game to game. Game status means that wolves can have a hunting season on them and be killed for trophies.
Please help us to help them and be a voice. We are on limited time.

February 22nd, 2023 is the last day where public comment suggestions will be taken into consideration to revise the draft management plan. After the 22nd, the draft will become final. If you value our wolves, this is your chance to be a voice.
