GIFT SHOP VOLUNTEER POSITION WANTED

 

  CWWC is looking for someone who would like to meet and greet our guests, help them with merchandise and to answer basic questions.

 

  This would be 2-3 days a week from 10:am to 6pm.

· After 3 months of being a volunteer, you will be taken in to meet our fox and a selected wolf(s) to have one of our photographers take
    some memorable photos of you.

TELEPHONE/DESK ASSISTANT

 

The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, a non-profit animal sanctuary in Divide, CO is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Front Desk Assistant. The position includes a wide variety of duties and responsibilities in a typically fast paced work environment in support of our mission to provide a voice for animals. This position does not include the opportunity to interact with wolves, however, it is possible to meet our fox & wolves on a scheduled visit after hours. The core functions of this position are as follows:

General Purpose

Provides customer service, administrative, secretarial and clerical support and maintain an efficient office environment.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • You will be working with another office member

  • MUST be able to multitask in a very high paced front desk position

  • customer service in person and via phone/email.

  • make and manage reservations, answer sanctuary and tour questions, and follow all policies and procedures

  • assist guests with purchases and donations

  • greet public and guests, check in reservations and provide information as needed

  • prepare and coordinate daily tour information all with staff

  • monitor, answer and forward incoming emails on a timely basis

  • maintain office filing and storage systems

  • assist director and staff as requested

  • co-ordinate calendar appointments and communicate as needed

  • ensure that office supplies stocked

  • MUST be on time and ready to work so it is advisable to arrive 15 minutes early.

  • We do have a coffee machine, fridge & microwave

  • keep office area clean and tidy

Education and Experience

  • business college training an advantage

  • previous office experience required

  • competent computer skills including MS Office or equivalent

  • internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and data collection

  • phone etiquette

  • numeracy and literacy skills

Hours and Compensation

Hours: Tuesday, Friday & Saturday. Part time. Start time is 7:30 am. 30 + hours per week.

Job Type: Seasonal/Full time June - End September with potential for long term position.

Pay: $12.32 per hour with monthly bonus

COVID-19 considerations: All staff and guests are required to wear masks on CWWC property.
